Maintainers of Aspell-related packages,

Now that the issues with the aspell-en license have been worked out and
with the GCC 3.2 transition now in motion, I plan to finally release
Aspell 0.50 to unstable in the next couple days. There are some major
changes in this release that will affect your packages:

* The pspell-ispell combination is obsolete, and ispell dictionaries
will no longer work with pspell.
* pspell itself is obsolete, as it has merged with Aspell. A
backward-compatible pspell header file will be included, however.
* Aspell now uses a new dictionary format, so dictionaries will need to
be rebuilt. Fortunately, the build interface for libraries has not
  changed.
* The dictionary naming scheme has changed. .pwli files are no longer
used. Please consult the Aspell manual for more information.

package to the new Aspell, they are available here:

Brian (Debian Aspell maintainer)
