We could be explicit about that as well, though I do like the phrasing
of my additional line: it gives the cover for what the team does without
having to list it out explicitly line by line. It's also (as I
understand it) where the sub-delegation comes from.
ie: Release team are actually currently delegated by FTP masters and BTS
admins.

Not easily, as I've been avoiding it :) Perhaps something like:
* Coordinate updates to the debian installer

I'd suggest just doing RMs, similar to the way ftpmaster and secretary
is done.
