I'm aware :)

It's using bzrlib, which isn't strictly correct. Someone will have to dig
in to see how that handles "~/" and "~foo" before we fix this :)

It's on the queue, but I'm in the middle of something else at the moment --
it'd be helpful if you could find out how it's expanding it -- my guess is
removing the tilde might help?

Not sure yet.
