Why?
you need to be able to push a new sources.list to your clients before
running task_updatebase, e.g. if you add repositories or repositories such as
marillats multimedia packages often change their location.

Maybe one should just separate the /etc/{hosts,hostname,resolv.conf} out of
prepareapt to have a clean meaning behind this tasks name.
