[Fakeroot-commits] 32 bit and 64 bit fakeroot?

Hi list,
I am using fakeroot-1.5.8.
I am trying to install fakeroot in a common location and then use it from 32
bit or 64 bit machines via NFS mount..
if i install on a 32 bit machine and access it from a 64 bit machine, i get
this error and my target image doe not boot:

ERROR: ld.so. object 'libfakeroot.so.0' from LD_PRELOAD cannot be preloaded:
ignored

I googled up a bit but couldnt find an answer to make it work..

Any hints are appreciated..
