I've discovered a bug in the foo2zjs debian package that is maintained 
by you according to debian apt-get information.
I'm using the 20070718dfsg-8 version of this package and I've noticed 
that udev rules that are used to load firmware into lp* devices for HP 
printers supported by foo2zjs package reference hotplug scripts that do 
not exist. I mean these:

So, the main problem was that printer did not "want" to print "without" 
any reasons. But the reason was that those files were not executed and 
suitable firmware was not loaded into printer. I had to download the 
original source and run "make install-hotplug" (which puts necessary 
scripts to "/etc/hotpluh/usb/" directory) command and copy firmware to 
"/usr/share/foo2zjs/firmware" directory.
I'll be glad if this message helps you in maintaing this package and you 
fix this bug in short time.
