Please re-read the severity definition at [1]: while I think the correct
severity is important (and I set it as well).

  grave
    makes the package in question unusable or mostly so, or causes data
    loss, or introduces a security hole allowing access to the accounts
    of users who use the package.

  important
    a bug which has a major effect on the usability of a package,
    without rendering it completely unusable to everyone.

Rationale: out of the 20 printers supported by version 20070718dfsg-9,
only 4 of them are affected by this bug, which means that some users are
not affected.

I think it was quite clear from my first reply to you [2] that I wanted
to fix this bug for lenny: this is why I cc:ed d-release in primis and
wait for their reply (thanks to Luk) before any action.

I prepared a package and asked to test it [3] (unfortunately, I do not
have any of the affected printers), but no one replied.  Finally, I
anyway updated the package to unstable and I have already planned to ask
for a freeze exception.  I have not done it yet because anyway the
package needs 10 days in unstable before any possible migration.

So, yes, expect to read an unblock request on the foo2zjs-maintainer
list very soon :-D
