Thank you.

From <http://foo2qpdl.rkkda.com/>:

  In fact, QPDL printers are raster printers which happen to use a very
  efficient wire protocol. QPDL is just one of many wire protocols that
  are in use today, such as Postscript, PCL, Epson, ZjStream, etc.

This means that feeding the printer with a QPDL file can effectively
"configure" the printer.

OTOH, the CRD files are "Color Rendering Dictionaries", i.e. a color
profile for PostScript files.

Basically, the major drawback should be a color problem, as you can see
From the image attached in the corresponding LaunchPad bug:

  https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/foo2zjs/+bug/424546

Given that we (Debian foo2zjs maintainers) do not know where these files
come from and especially their license, it is impossible for Debian to
include them, even in the source package.

Actually, at least upstream foo2zjs/crd/qpdl/CLP-300cms contains a clear
evidence that this file should derive directly from Samsung (probably an
older version of their Unified Linux Driver):

--8<---------------cut here---------------start------------->8---
   131  <</UseCIEColor true>>setpagedevice
   132  %%!PS-Adobe-3.0
   133  %
   134 % Color Rendering Dictionary (CRD)
   135  % Source:  - Samsung
   136  % Description: Gogh17.0M_Per2_G135_KStart62_CMYK_L5Down
   137  % Created: Fri Jun 30 20:13:57 2006
   138  %
   139  %%BeginResource
   140  <<
--8<---------------cut here---------------end--------------->8---

Until Samsung releases its driver (or at least these files/color
profiles) under a F/LOSS license, Debian can/will not include them,
sorry.

Unfortunately, if the your problem is caused by these missing QPDL
files, then the only solution would be to add a note in the
README.Debian about how to get them. However, if the problem is the
misplaced files that 'getweb' downloads, then the fix is on the way.

Thx, bye,
Gismo / Luca
