Ah, makes sense.

I noticed the huge debian-live changelog recently :-)

Would be nice with a Git hook to auto-tag bugfixes as pending in 
bugreports when mentioned as closed in a commit.  I sure could use that 
in my many Git-based packages. I see that madduck failed to find that 
too in his long writing[1] - he mentions it in "Future Directions".
