Hi,

i just saw the recent commits of Rich in ext3grep, and though that i
should mention a few things by the occasion - sorry that it happens for
your commit, this is not to point at you, Rich.

Please:

  * Please set correct name and email information in your git config,
see the general git cheatpage how to do it.

  * if you add new upstream versions, to always tag them and don't
forget to push them with 'git push --tags'.

  * if you include tarballs into pristine-tar, make sure that the
tarballs have the correct name (e.g. foo_1.2.3.orig.tar.gz and not
   foo-1.2.3.tar.gz).

  * if you merge upstream releases to the debian branch, please don't
do it with the merge command - it creates useless merge-commits
that are really ugly (which results in *three* commits on the debian
branch, rather than just one). See the maintainer cheatpage on how
    you can do it different.

I took the liberty to 'correct' above things for ext3grep.

Regards,
Daniel
