[Freewx-maint] Bug#588104: Any news?

I grabbed Fabrice's latest wxwidgets.dif
Used a normal patch -p1 to apply it.
used debuild -us -uc

(i'm just learning packaging from the ground up, so i basically have no idea what i'm doing ok?)
it produced debs

I'm guessing the simplist way for me to install them is create a local repo and pin them, but i did not change version or anything else.

I can see what you mean by how long it takes to build Olly.

I'm happy to do some proper testing, rebuild with a different method if needed.
And any input on how to test the packages, can i just use dpkg overwrite my current ones, or do i have to change version and/or pin?
