[Freewx-maint] Dreaded libwx_gtk2u_media-2.8.so.0 missing question

Hi,

May i ask for your attention to this apparently long-standing question / 
issue.

I'm attempting to build wxLua ( wxlua.sourceforge.net )

Mostly it builds as expected, this however has me dumbfounded. I believe 
i worked around this once but that's quite a long time ago.

Linking CXX shared library ../../lib/Release/libwxstedit-wx28gtk2u-1.6.0.so
/usr/bin/ld.bfd.real: cannot find -lwx_gtk2u_media-2.8

The pattern .*wx_gtk2u_media-2.8.* cannot be found anywhere on my system 
and so it appears it is actually not included in the build. Something 
with a dependency issue related to gconf or gstreamer.

What can i do to remedy this. Can a wiki page be added for a possible 
work-around ?
