wxwidgets2.8 is deader than gstreamer 0.10.  It was dropped from testing
before jessie, and already has an RM request filed for removal from
unstable too - that's just waiting for the last three reverse
dependencies to migrate away.

It makes little sense to put effort into migrating it at this point.
