just FYI: upgrading gnome-app-install this morning showed this:

    gettext = _gettext.translation('gnome-app-install')

    raise IOError(ENOENT, 'No translation file found for domain', domain)
IOError: [Errno 2] No translation file found for domain: 'gnome-app-install'
