[Glibc-bsd-devel] format of libz.so not recognized

Hi.

I have been compiling packages today. Those who Build-Depends: zlib1g-dev
gave the following warning:

dpkg-shlibdeps: warning: format of libz.so not recognized

and as a result, zlib1g does not appear in the Depends: line, as it
should be, so I decided not to upload them for now (would they be
suitable for "unreleased"?).

Does anybody knows the reason for this warning?

The smallest package I found which shows this behaviour is `randtype',
just in case someone wants to try.
