[Glibc-bsd-devel] passing parameters from grub

hi,

  the FreeBSD cardbus driver doesn't like one of my PCMCIA controllers.
(FreeBSD 5.2.1 CD locked up as well, it's a Fujitsu Lifebook P5020D)

i believe i just need to add cardbus_load="NO" to the loader.conf
but i'd like to try it first without having to burn another coaster

i tried adding it to the end of the kernel line in grub but that seems to be
read as part of the root partition

i tried booting the livecd in qemu but it couldn't find the emulated harddrive
