I have just seen that Robert Millan has some comments on the patches,
however, I have already uploaded the packages to unreleased. I have been
called to go eating, that's why I am only answering to your email now.

I have two comments:
- You can fill bugs with severity important. It has been allowed by the
  release team, and also the experience shows that such bug are fixed
  quicker.
- You can send your mail about patches directly to
  glibc-bsd-devel at lists.alioth.debian.org , so that more people can see
  it.
