New install process

Hmm.  I never experienced this (I tried at least 4 or 5 times from
scratch) up to what I described earlier in this thread.  Could it in
any way be related to my french keyboard?

Some times I was able to type twice the password, but then... stalled.

Did it take long to go back to the Menu?  Did you use the `Standard'
installation like I did?  (Anyways, this method is now deprecated:
http://glibc-bsd.alioth.debian.org/doc/installing.html).
