[gopher] Gopher's been quiet for awhile

It totally is.  Please join the list and collaborate.  I'm having a hard
time convincing them to give this the stamp of approval, and one of the old
hands has hinted that because it's just me, it's hard to show that there is
any kind of development going on with gopher.
