Hi,

Thanks for the responses. I have discovered that - and that is very new 
- it is now possible to run Android apps on Chrome OS. So I could use 
the Android gopher app.

And also it is possible to install a Linux desktop environment besides 
Chrome OS and use it like a normal Linux computer and switch between it 
and Chrome OS by a keyboard stroke.

So that fixes that.
