To be fair, TBL is no happier with the current state of the WWW than we are.  In fact, he's been pretty vocal about it!  I'd suggest he's an ally on port 80.

The WWW in its current incarnation of tracking scripts, adware, and "fat assets" is practically unusable.  The rodents will win by nature of their simplicity.
