[gopher] Interesting server projects?

Hi,

To make debugging my Gopher client more fun, I spend some time on my own
Gopherspace (gopher://gopher4all.com:70). It's powered by a server
written by yours truly in Nashorn (JavaScript for JVM).

Since there are lots of Gopher servers available for many different
languages/platforms, both old and new, I wondered if people are using
those to build interesting/fun/experimental projects.

Personally, I am a collector of weird B-movies DVD/blurays and made
available my database on my gopherspace, including a search function and
several filters. I'm also always listening to music and made available
my Last.fm statistics, although the Last.fm API has several issues right
now and is not in all cases returning the correct data. Both
applications are probably only interesting for my own use. I am thinking
about adding stuff that could be of more interest to others.

I have seen Kevin's Star Wars database, like that a lot (saw some Python
encoding tracebacks in some results though) and added a link on my Links
page. Of course, I've read about the fun Gopher-to-telephony project as
well.

BTW, here's a link to a screenshot of the client that I've in
development (JavaFX 8):

In the meantime I've added a button on the right side of the toolbar to
enable/disable the tree.

Kind regards,
Vincent
