Well, there are no intensions from upstream to do an amd64 port at all
and  I'm definitely not doing it myself. If you or someone other
provides patches, I'll happily apply them, but don't expect anything
more: Helix player just don't run on amd64.

Maybe helix-player 2 will support amd64..
