Looks like a Marco d'Itri dream :-)  (Debian's udev maintainer).  I sure
hope they have someone with very level shoulders taking care of that, a
fully-assynchronous userspace is difficult to get right, and if you don't
place a lot of constrains in it to make sure it cannot have circular deps
and other nasty issues, you will have a maintenance nightmare in your hands.

But if it is done right, it will be a very large, and important, step
forward.
