Speeding up the boot, a non-scientific report

I documented most of these steps in
<URL: http://wiki.debian.org/BootProcessSpeedup >, which seemed like a
nice place to collect information on how to speed up the boot. Did
not mention the removal of hwclock* from rcS.d/ as I am a but unsure
when it is safe to do so. I am not sure if it is architecture
dependent (as in always safe to do on for example i386), or if there
is a more complex rule to apply.

Happy hacking,
Petter Reinholdtsen
