OK.

As mail-transport-agent isn't (supposed to be) provided as a facility
by any boot script, I guess someone need to get all those providing
the virtual mta package to agree to provide a virtual boot facility
too.  Conflicting provides it not an option at the moment, so boot
scripts depending on mail-transport-agent will fail to install when
dependency based boot sequencing is enabled.  A virtual facility is
like the $local_fs and $remote_fs facilities, which map to many
scripts.

Of course, if the local admin want to specify a boot dependency on a
specific MTA, she can do so by adding a file in
/etc/insserv/overrides/.
