Package: letsencrypt
Version: 0.4.1-1~bpo8+1
Severity: normal
I don't quite understand how i got into this situation. I just installed
the letsencrypt package from backport - i was using LE using a
virtualenv built from the git repo ("cf218dd Release 0.3.0") before.
That created a "renewal" file which I am trying to use now:
# letsencrypt -c /etc/letsencrypt/renewal/wiki.reseaulibre.ca.conf --renew-by-default
usage:
letsencrypt [SUBCOMMAND] [options] [-d domain] [-d domain] ...
The Let's Encrypt agent can obtain and install HTTPS/TLS/SSL certificates. By
default, it will attempt to use a webserver both for obtaining and installing
the cert. Major SUBCOMMANDS are:
(default) run Obtain & install a cert in your current webserver
certonly Obtain cert, but do not install it (aka "auth")
install Install a previously obtained cert in a server
renew Renew previously obtained certs that are near expiry
revoke Revoke a previously obtained certificate
rollback Rollback server configuration changes made during install
config_changes Show changes made to server config during installation
plugins Display information about installed plugins
letsencrypt: error: prepare is a flag but is being set to 'False'
There is indeed a "prepare" flag in the config, but it was put there by
the LE client - i certainly didn't customize that file myself, or at
least, not that I remember. Even if I comment out that parameter, a ton
more yield the same error.
