Hi,

i just looked at the library called XCB which is the successor of Xlib
and is used to talk to the X server, and I saw that the library was
completely generated from an XML description of the X11 protocol.

There is only an XSLT stylesheet to write the C code.

I think it could be easy to transform this XSLT file and adapt it to
Lisaac. We would have a direct library for X11.

Thje XSLT file:
http://gitweb.freedesktop.org/?p=xcb/libxcb.git;a=history;hb=HEAD;f=src/c-client.xsl

Thinking of this, I'll have to refresh my knowledge of XSLT :)
