Aha!  This is correct.  There was a fix to add a -R to chmod in 1.2.19-x
so the chmod will not happen on versions 1.2.19, 1.2.19-1, 1.2.19-2

Thanks for the input.  Patched in CVS, and expected release at most 1wk from
now.
