Version: 1.2.17
Severity: wishlist
The regexp in /etc/logcheck/violations.ignore.d/logcheck-innd used by
logcheck to parse INN's log entries is incorrect:
^\w{3} [ :0-9]{11} [._[:alnum:]-]+ nnrpd\[[0-9]+\]: \? reverse lookup=20
for [^[:space:]]+: [0-9]+ [^[:space:]]+: failed: Unknown host -- using
IP address for access$
Since I'm not an expert at regular expressions there is probably a
better way of doing this, but it works:
^\w{3} [ :0-9]{11} [._[:alnum:]-]+ nnrpd\[[0-9]+\]: \? reverse lookup
for [0-9]+\.[0-9]+\.[0-9]+\.[0-9]+ failed: Unknown host -- using IP
address for access$
Thanks,
