Package: logcheck
Version: 1.2.15
Severity: wishlist

Hi,

it would be easier to create "tighter" rules if logcheck would allow
to access local host name and the current date in rule files as macros.

Greetings
Marc

hello marc,

closing that bug, as the duplicate #174331 has some sort of patch.
so the macro stuff has still an advocate in bts.
todd agreed.

on other news,
hope you are pleased by the recent progress of logcheck :)
