The logrotate domain is included in the standard policy packages,
I don't think you need to modify anything.

Well, the "useradd / usermod" misfunction i encountered is not related
to logcheck itself and needs to be fixed independently.
After that all that is needed for logcheck probably is installing
the "logrotate" policy files
