[Logcheck-devel] Bug#262068: logcheck: Putting subdirs in ignore.d causes error emails to be sent

Package: logcheck
Version: 1.1.1-13.1woody1
Severity: normal

I have most of my /etc under CVS control. Doing this in
/etc/logcheck/ignore.d causes the following email to be sent every hour:
[snip]
From: Cron Daemon <root at mydomain.me>
To: root at mydomain.me
Subject: Cron <root at silverton> test -x /usr/sbin/logcheck && nice -n10
/usr/sbin/logcheck
X-Cron-Env: <SHELL=/bin/sh>
X-Cron-Env: <HOME=/root>
X-Cron-Env: <PATH=/usr/bin:/bin>
X-Cron-Env: <LOGNAME=root>

egrep: /etc/logcheck/ignore.d/CVS: Is a directory
[/snip]

This feels like a bug to me, but perhaps I'm making a feature request.

Thanks,
    Dale
