just got this:

Installing new version of config file /etc/logcheck/logcheck.conf ...
Installing new version of config file /etc/cron.d/logcheck ...
chown: `logcheck:logcheck': invalid user
chown: `logcheck:logcheck': invalid user
chgrp: invalid group name `logcheck'

when upgrading to the "latest" version from Tue May 18 13:52:50 CEST 2004 from debian.stro.at
before i had default sarge version 1.2.17
