great, i've seen it..
could you add yourslelf to the debian logcheck team list in
debian/copyright?

in the bts there is this open manpage bug from ross,
would you want to work on current manpage?
please take care when taking sentences from ross,
he has bad knownledge of logcheck.
current docs and templates seem ok.

look at the difference of logtail(8) and logcheck(8)
first has very nice headers and footers, seconde not.
maybe you can realize them with docbook-to-man?
if not it would be great to rewrite it in groff,
i's not that complicated. look at doc/logtail.8
so we could remove dependency on docbook-to-man?

current manpage is also lacking an nice examples section.
for my part i like dense manpages, but current
is lacking some explanations for new/novice users.
it got better since 1.2.17, but still..

what do you think?

ps cc logcheck-devel as alfie has some thoughts on that topic
      and always nice strings.
also want to work on that, but maybe short of time?
