seems good to be a good ping, you didn't respond to my previous request,
nor was it clear that you could reproduce it so easily.
thought it only happened once.
ok, i'll clone your bug as i still doubt that it is connected to the
previous bug.

please send the output of the following commands:
getent passwd logcheck
getent group logcheck
getent group adm
mount
ls -ld /var/lock/logcheck
ls -ld /etc/logcheck
