I've added the following rule to cvs, which matches the messages you  
provided:

^\w{3} [ :0-9]{11} [._[:alnum:]-]+ cvs-pserver\[[0-9]+\]: connect  
from [._[:alnum:]-]+ \([0-9.]{7,15}\)$

This'll be included in the next release.
