I'm backup my ldap with slapcat (from package slapd) and get a entry in
syslog. Can you add to /etc/logcheck/ignore.d.server/slpad:
^\w{3} [ :0-9]{11} [._[:alnum:]-]+ slapcat: bdb_db_init: Initializing BDB database$
