I am unsure what to do about smart messages, considering that smartd
is configured to send out mails about these grave events itself.
From what I heard from the smartmontools people (sourceforge
archives are dead, unfortunately), it might actually make sense to
filter the smart messages altogether and have smartd alert the user
separately (and in real-time).
