I think they got through, I was just waiting to see if anyone had more
comments.

I think the changes are all forward progress, and I really like the
fact they come with a test case, so I put them all in the trunk
following the "release early, release often" guidelines.  

It has introduced some issues on IA64 (and probably other
architectures) but no regressions -- the new features just don't work
as expected as yet.  I will try and find time, but since Uni session
has started back up it may take a while.  It all looks good on i386
though.
