Hello,
RT ticket #13043 has a patch attached that modifies the behaviour of
Net::SSLeay::Handle::READLINE to return one line in scalar context and a
list of all lines that can be read in list context.
This sounds like a sane behaviour to me, but it actually changes the
behaviour compared to former releases and may break compatibility.
Is anyone aware of other code that uses Net::SSLeay::Handle and relies
on READLINE returning only a single line even in list context?
Should we change the default behaviour?
Also I would like to get rid of the Net-SSLeay-Handle directory trunk/.
I think we should split it and ship it in another distribution or we
should properly integrate it into the Net::SSLeay distribution. What are
your thoughts?
