Redundancy is the point :) (though I'm not ruling out additions)
There's nothing http://neurodeb.pirsquared.org that one won't
find on http://neuro.debian.net/debian (except for a little
California humor).
There are many projects that use github exclusively (not you
guys, those "other" people ;) ) - that it's just a matter of time
before github goes down and those projects get temporarily
crippled. I want to minimize the chance of that happening for
projects I care about. It's about having an Emergency
Preparedness plan and reducing the number of points of failure.

I used the wrong vocabulary - I meant the "New repository
setup instruction." which Michael committed on March 22nd.
