[Neurodebian-devel] Debian packages for Stimfit

Dear all,

I've finally managed to put together some deb packages for Stimfit. They are currently available through a launchpad ppa (https://launchpad.net/~christsc-gmx/+archive/neuropy). On ubuntu, you can add it to your apt list using

$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:christsc-gmx/neuropy

Before installing, it's a good idea to remove any remnants of a previous stimfit install (sudo make uninstall).
Then, you can install stimfit using apt-get:

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install stimfit

I'm not sure whether the debs will work on "real" Debian and would welcome some testing. Let me know how it goes.
