Reading large data with a crappy format like nifti (and I bet people are
going to gzip it)! It's really going to be really slow for io.

Why, oh why, does the neuroimaging community feel a need to invent crappy
format (I know, legacy and good deal of ignorance, just complaining for
the sake of it).
