Hello,
me, Marco Bardelli and Mark Caglienzi met this afernoon for an
improvised hacking session on contributors.debian.org. This is a little
recap of what was done:
does a lookup of [name] among all the identifiers and chooses the
appropriate user for it. This was also done if the user or the
identifier in question has been set as hidden. It is fixed now.
- The site now shows an unambiguous_user_id
(name at authentication_domain) instead of an email address to show
users and generate links to contributor_details. This reduces email
exposure to spam harvest, although only @debian.org and
@users.alioth.debian.org emails where shown in the past, which are
already harvestable from elsewhere.
- Marco implemented a "Delete all contributions" function for data
source admins. It can be found on https://contributors.debian.org/sources/
to delete all contributions for a data source, and on
https://contributors.debian.org/source/[name]/update/
to delete all contributions for a single contribution type.
- Marco turned some inappropriate "404 Not found" result codes into
a less confusing "403 Forbidden"
- Mark started working on the interface to claim an email address and
associate it to one's user: more on this to come.
Ciao,
Enrico
