I just bought a "Gamatronic G-SmartCompact 2000" UPS after I had verified
in advance that the protocal (MegaTec) is supported. It does work with the
fentonups driver in NUT. The box is made in Taiwan by "Trueful" which
refers to it as a "EPII-2000" - so may be also sold under other names.

Here is the identification string:
# V4.04EG411
which leaves both the company name and model blank.

I would like to configure NUT to recognize the UPS and make appropriate
battery charge calculations. Do you have any suggestions for how to
collect the data for fentonups.h - in particular for the lowvolt and
voltrange parameters? The UPS status string shows that the UPS is
monitoring the temperature?

Samples of the raw output and links below.

Thanks for your help,
Nathan Wallach

The fentonups driver is obsolete and has been replaced by the megatec driver.
