Use this patch instead of the prior two-patch sequence.
It appears that under certain conditions the UPS can send out a drastically shortened, yet still valid, status string. This patch ignores short reads as long as at least one byte was read from the UPS.

This patch should be applied after cyberpower_olrm_patch.diff; it corrects an issue caused by the fact that this UPS can output a variable-length status string.
