[Openstack-devel] Python pecan contains a non-free script file

Hi,

I'm writing to you all because are the top commiters in the python-pecan
project on Github.

I am trying to get python-pecan in Debian. My package is ready, though
it has been rejected by the FTP masters. One of the reason is that this
file:
pecan/middleware/resources/syntax.js

is a compressed script. In the view of Debian, this makes the package
non-free, as there is no source for this javascript.

I had a look and tried to match it with what I could find in here:
http://alexgorbatchev.com/SyntaxHighlighter/download/

unfortunately, there is nothing that easily matches the "syntax.js".

So, where is this syntax.js coming from? Would it be possible to
completely delete it from python-pecan, or to replace it by a
non-obfuscated version?

Please let me know. This is one of the dependency of Openstack Grizzly,
and this is a major blocker for getting it in Debian.

Please let me know,
Best regards,

Thomas Goirand (zigo)
