[PKG-Openstack-devel] ongoing OpenStack packaging in Debian

Hi Allison,

Just to declare my intention :)

I'm managing all Swift-related packages and it's dependencies now. I want
to continue this work.

I was thinking about moving this packages outside of infra, because I can't
work on them without debian/ocata branch. But if you are going to be PTL
and you are going to manage Openstack deb packaging inside infra project, I
will wait. But I'm blocked now.

I think we need fix this:

   1. create debian/ocata branches
   2. faster to deploy anything (3x build)
   3. allow to have one commit per change (git commit --amend after ever
git merge commit of new upstream version)
   4. manage auto-backports in better way
   5. add unstable build gate
   6. allow non-cores to send "merge commit", because only cores can
prepare new upstream version of package now

To be honest, I don't have much free time to help with this, but I can try.
And to be honest again, nothing of this was problem inside Alioth :).

Thanks.
