[Oval-devel] News about current Oval Agent project status

  I'm want announce that i back to active oval-agent development. I
spend last three month on other Google Summer of Code project but now
many parts of my projects in good shape and i can return to this
unfinished project.

  You can find svn tree of this project at
svn://svn.debian.org/svn/oval/trunk/, it already contain 6 sub
project, some bits about each of them:

oval-agent - client part of oval project. Has problems with run on
oval-monitor - some initial samples of client UI. Using Python2.5 and WxWidgets
oval-server - Currently broken, depends on daemon.py code and has some
runtime bugs.
ovaldi  - current oval interpretator 5.4.2 tree. Included in Debian Lenny.
ovalint - deprecated tree of oval interpretator.
tools -

  Today i fix some bugs in oval-agent and oval-server packages,
upgrade it to python 2.5. But it work with some problems yet, in
include some runtime dependencies problems.
Also i made initial import of oval-monitor. This tools can read some
stats from prepared oval-server database. This only prototype code to
showcase current UI. I will work on improvement of oval-monitor
package on next week.
